Hey hey!! So over the last 2 months I’ve been struggling with my mental health a lot. As most of you know, I gave up my “high school experience” to continue training and prepping for the career I want as a professional dancer. So instead of going to public school, I go to the Joffrey Ballet School. I danced 8am to 3pm, Monday through Friday and then came home and am homeschooled for my academics. It’s pretty safe to say dance is my life, and my life revolves around my passion. For the last 2 1/2 years, I’ve been dealing with partial dislocations of my knees. Definitely not fun, and very painful. In the middle of September, I completely tore my MPFL ( a ligament in the knee) in my left knee. This Friday I will be undergoing surgery to replace it, with a 6-8 month rehab. Which means… no dance. I haven’t danced since September and won’t be able to until May or later. Not dancing has been extremely hard for me. I’m at home 24/7, just doing school work all day. Finding things to keep me busy is very hard. I’m just ready to get the surgery and starting healing!!!!!!! If you guys have any things you love to do definitely tell me, I need some suggestions haha!! I hope you all have been doing good!! 🙂
