Well okay, this was an unexpected find. I was searching for one thing and this whole other book came up.
Even though the book was published in 2013 and I read books from 2017-PRESENT, the topic is still relevant, especially given that I’ve been writing fic since I was twelve.
It’s basically history and appreciation for fanfiction and how it’s become a popular medium and continues to grow.
With a historical context, I’m kind of hoping that it will inspire my own creative juices again. I’m dying to write but I’ve got no inspiration lately.
About Me
Ronnie
Shy and quiet reader. Shy and quiet writer.
Aside from being a fangirl, I am an avid reader to the extreme. I converted an old bedroom into a library so much of my time is spent in it. I read a variety of genres but my main genre is Non-Fiction and a sub-genre of Native American studies.
My top 3 books of all time:
- Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson
- Into the Wild by Jon Krakauer
- The Mists of Avalon by Marion Zimmer Bradley
