  • Has anyone read this book, “Unmasking Autism” by Dr. Devon Price? I’m only reading two chapters a day because that’s all I have time for, but at the same time I am devouring it!

    I have not been this seen before since ‘Quiet’ by Susan Cain.

    I am absolutely loving this autism book. So much of it makes sense and puts things into perspective for me.

  • So for July I hit the worst reading slump I’ve ever been in with having read only 3 books. Total shame on my part. I’m chalking it up to the heat though. With temps over 100 (F), it’s been too hot to even do anything.

    • Hir Ronnie, how was “Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee”? I agree with you about the heat, I find myself more tired and reading is so relaxing for me, I am not speeding through the books. I like to sit outside and read and that isn’t happening right now.

      • Debbie, Bury My Heart At Wounded Knee is pretty good so far. I read it back in middle school so there’s a lot I have forgotten about over the years, but as I read it my memory gets refreshed so I’m able to recognize people and events that I hadn’t in a while.
