So I tried out a new therapist. I hadn’t been in a couple of years. It’s a good thing I’m going now. The one I had before wasn’t a good fit and only talked about himself so I didn’t get anywhere for my benefit.
My dad found this new one online after I had a serious episode. After meeting with the therapist yesterday I saw that it will be a good fit. Not bad for a home run out of the ballpark. I won’t have to look at other therapists because this one will work.
I’m going to like her and she’s adding a new program to my cognitive behavioral therapy which is what I needed I think. She even agrees with the many diagnoses I’ve had in the past.
She does want to see me once a week which is going to be interesting. I usually just see therapists once a month. Maybe this will help.

Shy and quiet reader. Shy and quiet writer.
Aside from being a fangirl, I am an avid reader to the extreme. I converted an old bedroom into a library so much of my time is spent in it. I read a variety of genres but my main genre is Non-Fiction and a sub-genre of Native American studies.
My top 3 books of all time:
- Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson
- Into the Wild by Jon Krakauer
- The Mists of Avalon by Marion Zimmer Bradley
