Saw Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 this weekend.
Personally, I didn’t like it. I understand the premise of cruelty and injustice and all of that, but my issue is that I read so much nonfiction to the point that I don’t want to be reminded of that stuff in something I’m trying to enjoy. Sadly not even the action or music could keep me engaged because it was overshadowed by the dark premise of the main storyline.
I at least liked the other 2 Guardians movies, but this third one I would never see again.
My mom loved it and that’s what mattered to me. She later told me had she known what I was feeling during the movie that we could have walked out, but I didn’t want to do that to her since she’d been looking forward to this movie for a while so I didn’t want to do that to her.
Hope those of you who have seen it, managed to have a better experience than I did.

Shy and quiet reader. Shy and quiet writer.
Aside from being a fangirl, I am an avid reader to the extreme. I converted an old bedroom into a library so much of my time is spent in it. I read a variety of genres but my main genre is Non-Fiction and a sub-genre of Native American studies.
My top 3 books of all time:
- Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson
- Into the Wild by Jon Krakauer
- The Mists of Avalon by Marion Zimmer Bradley
