    😔
I’m not sure quite where to post this, but felt this was probably the best spot.
Yesterday, our dear friend Riley lost their mum, after she had a long battle with cancer.
Needless to say, Riley is feeling a mix of emotions, not least as they were her primary care giver, so dealt with it all.
So we want to send out our support and love.
And possibly if anyone has any experience they could share on how you coped, then please do.
Riley. I know we keep saying this and we will continue to say it. We love you on every level and wish we could give you another real time hug like we got a few weeks ago.

    • I’m so sorry to hear this! I can’t imagine how difficult this must be. Riley, we are here if you need anything.

I haven’t lost my parents but I did lose my grandmother many years ago who I was super close with. It hit me hard. I say this all the time but music is what got me through it and what continues to help me cope through difficult times. It may sound so simple and that it might not help but if you keep it on every single day it really does start to make a difference. I’d also watch a lot of comedy, and take walks outside.

    • Riley, my heart goes out to you just as everyone else here. I can’t imagine what it’s like losing a parent. When it comes to death I deal with it differently so I may not be much help. All I can do is offer my condolences as basic as that may be. I hope things, despite this tragedy, work out for you. You deserve all the love out there and you know you certainly find it here.

    • I’m so sorry to hear this. Let me know if there’s anything I can do to support Riley.

    • I am very sorry to hear of this news. I cannot even begin to imagine the emotions this hard time brings. Please tell Riley that I am thinking of them!! The only thing I could maybe suggest is to hold onto every moment and cherish it. The memories will last a lifetime. 😁 Perhaps creating a memory journal—pictures, stories could help with the grieving process.

    • Yes, all of these comments made me cry. Your support is like a big warm hug and I could never thank you all enough.
