Well here’s some unfortunate news.
This past week I was diagnosed with PTSD. At least according to my therapist. I still need to get it confirmed with my psychiatrist.
So not cool.
It’s just with that whole Walmart incident and wrongful arrest, it got me seriously messed up and emotionally damaged.
At least I’m getting help for it though. We haven’t even gotten deep into it yet. We’re just scratching the surface of what happened. We haven’t gotten into the jail parts, or the fact that I can’t touch my grandma or be around older people without flipping out. Heck, I can’t even go to Walmart without having an anxiety attack unless it’s super early in the morning. But again, I’m getting help so that’s what’s important.
I’ve never really dealt with what happened. It’s one thing talking about it with my family and on here sometimes, but it doesn’t shake the paralyzing emotions from it.

Shy and quiet reader. Shy and quiet writer.
Aside from being a fangirl, I am an avid reader to the extreme. I converted an old bedroom into a library so much of my time is spent in it. I read a variety of genres but my main genre is Non-Fiction and a sub-genre of Native American studies.
My top 3 books of all time:
- Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson
- Into the Wild by Jon Krakauer
- The Mists of Avalon by Marion Zimmer Bradley
