Wasn’t sure where to post this, either here or in the mental health group since it can be placed in either one.
I’m the type that likes to learn about conditions I have and so I do a lot of reading on bipolar disorder just so I can understand it and so I can see how other people experience it too.
These are the books I’ve collected over the past few years as I try to cope with my own diagnosis. I know I was diagnosed, going on 5 years ago, but it’s still an illness I have trouble adjusting to and believing I have even though I want to and so I read to get a sense of it.
About Me
Ronnie
Shy and quiet reader. Shy and quiet writer.
Aside from being a fangirl, I am an avid reader to the extreme. I converted an old bedroom into a library so much of my time is spent in it. I read a variety of genres but my main genre is Non-Fiction and a sub-genre of Native American studies.
My top 3 books of all time:
- Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson
- Into the Wild by Jon Krakauer
- The Mists of Avalon by Marion Zimmer Bradley
