So, I have just started watching season 2 of Dead End: Paranormal Park, and I am already smiling like an idiot with tears in my eyes.

It’s a cartoon, with a LEAD TRANS CHARACTER, played by a trans person. Don’t even get me started on him crushing on the cute guy he works with and there is SO MUCH MORE.

I’m crying, though, because it’s a cartoon for kids and they actively talk openly about being trans or feeling as if you don’t fit in. The lead character in this episode is talking about going to the gym and no one questioning him for being trans or wearing a binder… A KIDS CARTOON IS TALKING ABOUT THESE THINGS!!!!! It makes me so happy. I WISH I saw something like this as a kid.

Anyway, it has some hilarious characters. It’s spooky. Openly queer and accepting. What more could you want?
