I got accepted into college last year. Went to an open house and recently I went to another event they had. First time I went there I loved it, and couldn’t wait to go back. Second time, I had mixed feelings and started having second thoughts. Like I love the place and the people but I’m slowly losing interest in the major I chose. I went to a short class that day and I realized how much I just wasn’t into it. Everyone else was so much smarter and more passionate about it than I was. Then afterwards I went to a student activity event where we played bingo and I absolutely loved it! Like part of me wants to go to improve my social skills and meet new people and the other think it’s a waste of time because I’m losing interest in my degree. I’m not sure if these second thoughts are just nervous feelings of making a huge change or if I’m actually not interested. It’s hard to tell at this point. I have till the fall to decide but this recent visit as got me feeling these things that have taken a toll on my mental health these past few days.
