So what kinds of things do you all look for when it comes to podcasts? Do you look for specific shows or do you look for specific topics?
For me it all depends. A lot of my interests revolve around books so I’m always looking for either shows or topics. If I discover a new book then I will go search for the title of that book.
Take recently. I discovered a book (which I’ll post later this afternoon in the art thread once it arrives) and so I searched for that book in the podcasts and came up with quite a few where the authors discuss it. It makes me that much more excited when I read the book since I’ve heard the author’s first-hand accounts of it.
So how do you all go about it?

About Me
Ronnie
Shy and quiet reader. Shy and quiet writer.
Aside from being a fangirl, I am an avid reader to the extreme. I converted an old bedroom into a library so much of my time is spent in it. I read a variety of genres but my main genre is Non-Fiction and a sub-genre of Native American studies.
My top 3 books of all time:
- Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson
- Into the Wild by Jon Krakauer
- The Mists of Avalon by Marion Zimmer Bradley

Mostly specific topics based on whatever I’m interested in at the time. I don’t listen to podcasts often because sometimes I don’t have patience to listen to people talk for long periods of time. I have listened to some episodes of some music podcasts. Recently I found a podcast called The Autistic Creative Hub Podcast. It talks about the careers people with autism have and how they deal with everyday at work. It’s pretty cool.
