This might not seem like much, but recently our area, specifically the Franklin Mountains, and the surrounding hills and such, was designated a national monument. Definitely worth celebrating in our area. For years people have been advocating to get these lands and these mountains protected as there have certainly been developers interested in the areas. At least now they are going to be protected.
So now we’re in statuses with places such as Zion, The Grand Canyon, Devil’s Tower, and such.
About Me
Ronnie
Shy and quiet reader. Shy and quiet writer.
Aside from being a fangirl, I am an avid reader to the extreme. I converted an old bedroom into a library so much of my time is spent in it. I read a variety of genres but my main genre is Non-Fiction and a sub-genre of Native American studies.
My top 3 books of all time:
- Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson
- Into the Wild by Jon Krakauer
- The Mists of Avalon by Marion Zimmer Bradley
