Okay, so I’ve sort of got a book rec. It could easily go in the book thread, but I thought it would be better here.

I’m not one for bestsellers, however, I’m making an exception because the title caught my attention. It’s called “Your Brain on Art: How The Arts Transform Us” by Susan Magsamen and Ivy Ross. This book basically talks about how art affects our brains and the positive effects it has on it.

In the book, there is a survey at the beginning that it tells you to take before you continue reading the book. I took it and it described my artistic style which I thought was pretty neat.

I’m barely going to start this one, but already I recommend that if you’re interested in any kind of art form that you give it a try. It’s not just about art in the sense of painting and drawing, but it talks about all art forms.
