As May quickly approaches, Mermaids UK is bringing back their Miles for Mermaids. You can sign up to walk 25, 50 or 100 miles in May to raise money for the charity. I really wanted to do this, but I wanted to do it for a more local charity that I have used and volunteered for, The Kite Trust.

I am still talking to the charity to set it up, but in May I am hoping to raise £250 for The Kite Trust by walking 50 miles. I’ll definitely share once it’s all set up, and sharing the link is JUST as valuable as donating money as I know financially, things are awful right now.

So yeah, I wanted to share. Things are horrific right now for trans people, and I can’t always articulate words and fight back in that way, but I damn well make some noise when I can and I know you all do too.

Trans joy exists, we are valid and valued, and we deserve ALL the good stuff.
