While not exactly the same thing, I do think there are overlaps with this.
I love annotating my books. I personally view them as a form of journaling. Writing out my thoughts, making highlighter marks, etc. It kind of takes time out of reading because of the patience it requires. I don’t read as fast because I’m making notations in them. Still, my books become a sort of journal because it’s similar. The only real difference is that I’m marking my thoughts with words already on a page.
About Me
Ronnie
Shy and quiet reader. Shy and quiet writer.
Aside from being a fangirl, I am an avid reader to the extreme. I converted an old bedroom into a library so much of my time is spent in it. I read a variety of genres but my main genre is Non-Fiction and a sub-genre of Native American studies.
My top 3 books of all time:
- Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson
- Into the Wild by Jon Krakauer
- The Mists of Avalon by Marion Zimmer Bradley
