I’d love to discuss the different ways to help kids with autism learn and also make friends. As someone who’s on the spectrum myself, it’s super important to me.

That’s great Sophie. My sister is a kindergarten or pre-k teacher (I forget which) and she has several kids who are on the autism spectrum. This past year was her first year teaching so she’s had to learn how to work with kids of that nature. I think once kids who are on the spectrum are given the attention they need, then they could be understood and made to feel like they’re valued rather than just as someone who is different. It’s okay to be different, don’t get me wrong, but kids want to be accepted regardless of how they may be.

I was diagnosed with Aspergers at a young age, and always loved music. Now I’m currently learning to play guitar and sing. Plus songwriting too!
I’m also a huge Disney fan, I love being outdoors and spending time with the family.

Love that Sophie and I truly feel that every child should feel special and given all the tools they need to be successful. This is definitely something we would like to talk about and advocate for with Finding Our Way.
