Do any of you like to say positive affirmations every day?
It’s something I like to do every morning or if I start to think negatively I throw in a positive affirmation.

Since we’ve been talking about mental health lately. What’s a tv show that brings you comfort in times of stress?

Full House for sure… I started watching it while I went through a really rough time that I don’t remember now, but I can put it on whatever mood I’m in and it just brings a little smile to my face now.

Happy Friday! For the last few months, I’ve come to realize that I worry too much about what I really can’t control. Because we have been talking about mental health for the last little while- I wanted to share an activity today.
Create a worry jar! Write down all your worries on a piece of paper and then rip them into strips (or pre cut). Place…Read More2 Comments -

Good morning, I have a question. What helps you feel productive? I hope you all have an awesome week. 😊

For me definitely music. I need to play my relaxation music in the morning to help me wake up, but then throughout the day I’m constantly listening to it. It helps me feel alive if I go to that extreme. Plus I just feel a lot calmer when I listen to music. When things are stressful I just have to put on a good tune and I can become happy again.

Firstly, a cup of tea! It’s so silly for me to think that a hot drink in the morning / before I sit down to do a task makes ALL the difference. Even if it’s decaf (which is mostly is with me), it just tricks my brain into that focused zone. It may not last long but it definitely helps… along with movie scores. If I really need to get focused,…Read More

Ronnie
Shy and quiet reader. Shy and quiet writer.
Aside from being a fangirl, I am an avid reader to the extreme. I converted an old bedroom into a library so much of my time is spent in it. I read a variety of genres but my main genre is Non-Fiction and a sub-genre of Native American studies.
My top 3 books of all time:
- Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson
- Into the Wild by Jon Krakauer
- The Mists of Avalon by Marion Zimmer Bradley

I don’t use them myself (think I should start though) but I do love them. I have this hanging on a wall in my childcare centre, it was hand made by myself and my infant ECA.
